FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is an assessment?

An assessment is a meeting with a social worker to determine some of the support you might need in your life.  They tend to look into what your life experiences have been, what are the gaps that you would need to fill if you were going to do all the things you want to achieve in your life, and what support you currently have.  They will advise you on what kind of resources they could make available.
